Emer Emily Neenan is my name.
I’m finishing my PhD at the School of Education, Trinity College Dublin, studying Earth Science education in Irish schools, which was funded by an Irish Research Council Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Trinity College Dublin, and a MSc in Geology (Seismology) undertaken at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies Geophysics Section.
I love to create; I particularly enjoy exploring alternative ways of expressing science and research, including poetry, creative non-fiction, graphic design, and painting.
I have written my PhD thesis as a semi-fictionalised epistolary, telling the story of the research project from conception to completion through letters, emails, articles, poems, stories, and art.
My pronouns are she/her, I’m a cis queer/bisexual woman, a feminist, chronically ill with CFS/ME, neurodiverse (ADHD), and a mother.
